Projects
The newly created Astroparticle and Cosmology group at the Institue is active in experimental cosmology, using Type Ia Supernova to study the properties of Dark Energy. In addition, we are involved in the IceCube neutrino observatory at the South Pole, performing optical follow-up observations of selected IceCube events as part of a novel search for transient neutrino bursts from Supernovae and Gamma-Ray Bursts.
